DeskHaus Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy

We build heavy, high-quality desks and components. Our policy is designed to be transparent and fair—without hiding costs in the product price.

Our Commitment

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect — contact us immediately and we will take care of it.

For shipping damage; We must be contacted within three days of delivery. 


 

Quick summary (TL/DR)

 

  • 30-day returns on eligible items (approved via RMA, like‑new, original packaging).

  • Freight items: returnable (with RMA), but return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

  • HPL tops: returnable (with RMA), but not eligible for free return shipping.

  • Solid wood tops: final sale / not returnable.

  • Custom color products: final sale (cannot be canceled or returned).

  • Final sale / discounted items: final sale (no returns / no cancellations).

  • Cancellations: refunded minus 4% processing fee; solid wood orders have a 20% cancellation fee.

 

 


 

 

Returns & Exchanges (30 days)

 

If you’re not satisfied with an eligible product within 30 days of delivery, contact hello@desk.haus to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

 

Return conditions

 

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

 

  • The return must be approved and include a valid RMA

  • Items must be in like‑new condition

  • Items must be returned in the original packaging

  • Returns must include your order number

  • RMAs must be completed within 14 days of issuance

 

Returns sent without an RMA may be refused or returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

 


 

Return shipping costs

 

Return shipping depends on what you bought and where you are:

 

Contiguous 48 states (non‑freight items)

 

If your item ships by standard carrier (not freight), return shipping may be covered for eligible items except where noted below.

 

Freight shipments or outside the contiguous 48 states

 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs:

 

  • If the order ships via freight, or

  • If the destination is outside the contiguous 48 states

 

International customers are also responsible for any duties, customs fees, and taxes related to returns.

  • Most bases and accessories that are non‑custom and returned in like‑new condition in original packaging

 

Not eligible for free returns

 

  • High Pressure Laminate (HPL) tops are not eligible for free return shipping.

 

Not eligible for return (final sale)

 

  • Solid wood tops (final sale)

  • Custom color products (final sale)

  • Individual components and replacement parts

  • Marked‑down / sale items (final sale)

  • Combo Sales (Buy X Get Y)

 

Solid wood note

 

Our solid wood products are handcrafted in the USA from natural hardwood. Variation in grain, color, texture, and pattern is normal and expected. Wood grain preference is not a valid reason for return or exchange.

 


 

Cancellations

 

If your order is eligible to be canceled, you will be refunded minus a 4% processing fee. Payment processors do not refund these fees to the seller.

 

Solid wood order cancellations

 

Orders containing solid wood have a 20% cancellation fee due to materials and labor already committed.

 


 

Price adjustments

 

We do not offer retroactive price adjustments. Our product and freight costs can change frequently, and pricing reflects costs at the time of purchase.
